Mark Proudley MNAVA

28 years of experience full time within the plant and machinery valuation and disposal industry, including asset-based lending, insolvency valuations, mergers and acquisitions, insurance valuations and management of auctions and disposal sales. Mark has carried out valuations on a wide range of industrial and commercial assets with a value in excess of £10 million.

1989-2000: Employed by Edward Symmons & Partners in their Plant & Machinery department in Southampton, initially as a trainee valuer, rising to a senior valuer prior to leaving to set up own business.

2000-2003: Director & shareholder in Townsend Asset Services Ltd in Southampton, mainly providing plant & machinery valuation and disposal services to insolvency practitioners. During this period Mark became an experienced Plant & Machinery Auctioneer. In addition, he was responsible for all accounting and administrative functions of the business.

2003-2009: Director of Hilco Appraisal Ltd who took over the above business in May 2003. Responsible for running the Southampton office, providing the same services to the same client base above together with all accounting and administration.

2009-Present: Managing Director and owner of Proudley Associates Ltd.

 


Olivia Proudley MNAVA

8 years of experience within the plant and machinery valuation and disposal industry, including asset-based lending, insolvency valuations, mergers and acquisitions, insurance valuations and management of auctions and disposal sales.

2009-2012: Worked part-time for the company whilst studying for A-Levels at St Peters RC Secondary School, providing accounts assistance and producing asset schedules.

2012-2014: Worked part-time for the company whilst studying for a BTEC National Award in Applied Science (Medical), taking on more responsibilities within the company, and learning valuation skills. Joined NAVA as a Student Member.

2014-2016: Took a full-time position within the company as an Assistant Valuer and Online Auction Manager, whilst studying BSc Estate Management as a distance degree from the College of Estate Management. Also completed the NFOPP Level Three Technical Award in Chattels Auctioneering and became a Full Member of NAVA.

2016-Present: Associate Director of Proudley Associates Ltd.

 


Deborah Proudley

15 years of experience within the plant and machinery valuation and disposal industry, working within accounts and management positions.

2000-2003: Provided Secretarial and Accounts Services to the Director of Townsend Asset Services.

2003-2009: Provided Secretarial and Accounts Services to the Director of Hilco Appraisal Ltd who took over the above business in May 2003. Responsible for running the accounts of the Southampton office, providing the same services to the same client base above together with all accounting and administration.

2009-Present: Director and Accounts Manager of Proudley Associates Ltd.

 

 

 


 

Peter Devitt

27 years of experience within the plant and machinery valuation and disposal industry, including insolvency valuations and management of auctions and disposal sales.

1990-2000: Sub-contracted by Edward Symmons & Partners as a Senior Porter and Logistics Manager.

2000-2003: Director of Devitt Services Ltd and Sub-contractor to Townsend Asset Services Ltd in Southampton. Mainly providing porterage services and at the same time, training as a junior valuer.

2003-2009: Director of Devitt Services Ltd and Sub-contractor to Hilco Appraisal Ltd who took over the above
business in May 2003. Providing porterage and valuation services.

2009-Present: Director of Devitt Services Ltd, acting as Logistics Manager and Assistant Valuer for Proudley
Associates. Providing valuation services, and management of auction set-up, viewings and clearance.

 

 


Selby Ludolf MRICS

Over 35 years of experience in commercial property consultancy, investment and development. Selby is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with vast experience in commercial property.  

Pre -1998 – Employed by a number of companies including D E & J LEVY  (Partner and head of the Investment & Development Department), senior positions with Weatherall Green and Smith (now BNP Paribas Real Estate), Dunlop Heywood (1990 – Director and head of the Investment and Development Funding Department), Jones Lang Wootton (1979 – appointed as a graduate surveyor and retained as a valuation surveyor).  

1998 – 2006: Director and Shareholder of Mason Phillips, responsible for Commercial property investment, development funding/financing and transactions.

2006-2007: He has run his own commercial and residential property investment and development business where he has co-invested with private equity, Sipp and small Pension Funds. One of his noted developments includes the redevelopment of the former Hampshire Chronicle site in Winchester which he redeveloped as Jacob & Johnson House (retail and offices) in the High Street, and this was pre-let to Zizzi Restaurants in 2009 with the investment subsequently being sold to Royal Liver Pension Funds.

2007 – Present: Remains a Director and Principle Shareholder of www.pilgrimcommercial.co.uk who continue to invest and develop with financial partners including, Handelsbanken, Taylor Clark Properties Ltd and Pilgrim Trustee Services Ltd with current schemes in Wimbledon and Guildford. Tony Proudley MNAEA

30+ years in Estate Agency and currently one of only a select few Fellows of the National Association of Estate Agents in the whole of Bournemouth and Poole. Tony has worked his way up from trainee surveyor, negotiator and managing a number of high profile offices.

1995 – 2000: Partner of Simpsons Estate Agents, upon invitation of its founder Mike Simpson. During this time Tony was able to use his current knowledge and help to drive and push Simpsons in a positive direction.

2000 – 2009: Senior Partner of Simpsons Estate Agents covering a wide range of responsibilities including, Property Valuations, sales and the day to day running of the business. While studying to become a Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.  

2009 – Present: Proprietor of Simpsons Estate Agents. Residential Property Consultant to Proudley Associates Ltd.

 

 

 


 Lewis Proudley

Relatively new to the Valuation and Auctioneering industry. Brought in to continue the Family vibe at Proudley Associates, providing support on insolvency valuations, disposal of assets, management of auctions and customer service.

2013 – 2015: Operations worker at M&S, while starting a full time BSc (Hons) Sports Psychology degree at Bournemouth University. Responsibilities included running the stock room, sorting lorry deliveries, till maintenance and construction of any racking / shelving on the shop floor.

2015 – 2016: One Year University placement at Parkstone Golf Club. Responsibilities included weekly management meetings, organisation and planning of weekly events / competitions, liaising with Pro Shop, Greenkeepers and Bar Manager.

2016 – Present: Part time Assistant Valuer and Auction administrator while completing 4th and final year at Bournemouth University.
